Rocket Ship Kabobs

Ingredients:

• Popscicle sticks/skewers
• Strawberries
• Banana
• Kiwi
• Cheddar string cheese

Directions:

1. Slice fruit: Cut one banana into 6 slices, one kiwi into 4 slices and cut the strawberry head off of 4 strawberries.
2. Cheese: Cut one piece of cheddar string cheese into 8 slices.
3. Assemble the kabob: Strawberry on top, one piece of banana, one piece of kiwi, another banana and then two pieces of cheese coming off the bottom of the skewer in a diagonal.

This will make 4 kabobs! A lot of the ingredients can be substituted for similar food items!

Galaxy Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

• 1 cup butter
• ¾ cup sugar
• ¾ cup light brown sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
• 3 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ¾ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp baking soda
• Purple, teal and black food coloring
• White star confetti

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°.
2. Mix butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl.
3. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
4. Separate the dough into 3 different bowls. Doughs don’t need to be equally separated. One will need to be much larger than the other two.
5. Add black food coloring to the larger dough. Mix well.
6. Add teal food coloring to one of the smaller doughs. Mix well.
7. Add purple food coloring to the other smaller doughs. Mix well.
8. Put on gloves!!
9. Scoop out a ball of black cookie dough.
10. Add a small piece of teal cooking dough on top of the black cookie dough.
11. Add a small piece of purple on top of the teal cookie dough.
12. To get the swirled effect, carefully roll the dough into a ball and then flatten.
13. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Leave several inches between each cookie.
14. Sprinkle white star confetti onto the cookie.
15. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes until edges are light golden.
