Rainbow Selects Codi Mueller of Robinson and Grete Olsen of Horton to Attend the FRS Youth Tour in Washington D.C.

Rainbow Communications offers students in Northeast Kansas with a once-in-a-lifetime experience by attending the Foundation for Rural Service Youth Tour.  The students selected to attend the youth tour will get a first-hand look at the rural telecommunications industry, learn about the legislative and governmental process, and get the rare opportunity to visit our nation’s Capital. The Foundation for Rural Service limits the tour to 100 students, so the selected students will have the opportunity to meet other students from across rural America.

The students selected for this year’s tour are Codi Mueller from Hiawatha High School and Grete Olsen from Horton High School.

Codi is the daughter of Jeremy and Amy Mueller and resides in Robinson. Codi is a junior at Hiawatha High School and is involved in NHS, FFA, KAYS, Biology Club, Art Club, After Prom Committee, FBLA, Softball and Pep Club with a GPA of 3.875. She works at A&J Muellers and previously worked at Sarah Kathryn’s. Codi completed her CNA license this year and is excited to care for patients in the future. Codi’s community involvement includes 4-H, community service workdays, Ag Day, volunteering at the Humane Society and her local church, and the FFA Teacher’s Breakfast.
